ATTENDANCE CLASS 10 B
A BRIGHT MORNING BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today's learning outcome:
-I will be able to recall the terms and definitions related to algebra.
-The geometrical representations of linear and quadratic polynomials and the geometrical meaning of their zeroes.
Boys watch this videoπ
In this video we have seen the classification of polynomials based on the number of terms along with examples and the meaning of the word polynomial.
Now you watch this π
Above video help us to familiarise with the importance of coefficients and degree of a polynomial.
First let us recall : If p(x) is a polynomial in x, the highest power of x in p(x) is called the degree of the polynomial.
A polynomial of degree 1 is called a linear polynomial .eg: 2x - 3.
A polynomial of degree 2 is called a quadratic polynomial. General form of a quadratic polynomial in x is of the form ax2 +bx + c, where a, b, c are real numbers and a¹0.
let us watch this video to understand the geometrical meaning of the zeroes of polynomial: linear, quadratic and cubic. π
Today we will see only linear and quadratic in detail. Please watch this video twice before you move further.
Here we are going to pen down the concepts which can be applied to solve the problems
(go through these different cases)
Note the above points also in your register
Now you are able to answer Exercise questions in your registers.
Check your answers:
Here we put full stop for today.
tomorrow I will be meeting ten of you in the 2nd period.............. will send you the list of names and link.See you all tomorrow....... Have an awesome day ahead..
