Today's learning outcome:

Above video help us to familiarise with the importance of coefficients and degree of a polynomial.

First let us recall :  If p(x) is  a polynomial in x, the highest power of x in p(x) is called the degree of the polynomial. 

A polynomial of degree 1 is called a linear polynomial .eg: 2x - 3.
A polynomial of degree 2 is called a quadratic polynomial. General form of a quadratic polynomial in x is of the form  ax² +bx + c, where a, b, c are real numbers and a¹0.
